Though I don't have the final numbers yet, I know that a significant amount of money was raised from the many, many prizes donated. A big shout out goes to the Winmau family, Ian, Simon and Scotty Mitchell for their donations. Also much love to fellow Kryptonite Girls Bette Cunningham and Corrine Stockton for their contributions.
Bob's window, fellow K-Girl Candra Archbold, was very touched by the show of support and we all look forward to what this little event can become in the future. Sandy had a pretty good day in the Saturday only event winning 2 of the 4 events she entered. The results were highlighted by her 501 Singles Title, which is her 10th on the season. She bested her teammate Tia Rogers in the Finals, they play together on the league Champions " Awesome Sauce " team as well as with the Greater Greenville Dart Girls. She also got to play with local player Nicole Roehr who was playing in her first ever dart tournament and topped Candra and Haley Scott in the Doubles Cricket Finals. Both Nicole and Haley have only been playing darts about a year.
She teamed up to play Adult/Youth 501 with her regular youth partner Gage Alvarado, and advanced to the Semi-Finals before bowing out. She even played with her husband Chuck in 501 Mixed Doubles and reached the Top 8. Sandy's sponsors are the best in the world, thank you so much for your support Winmau, L-Style Global, Spider Tech, Flying Bull Darts and Dutchman Darts.
