![]() Sandy attended the Charlotte Open which is a regular stop for her, but like the past 3 years since this event has changed dates, she was just not in the right mindset to play. We were missing the start of our long awaited family vacation on the Isle of Palms in South Carolina and hope that the rumors we have heard about this tournament returning to it's old date are true. We skipped Friday's events but made it for the rest of the weekend. She teamed with her US International team partner Bette Cunningham and they finished Top 4 in Cricket and 2nd place in 501, both times losing heartbreaking 3 leg matches. Flying Bull and US International teammate Robbie Phillips teamed up in mixed doubles, bowing out in the 3rd round to eventual champions in Cricket and taking Top 4 in 501. In singles she lost in the Top 8 and lost her first match to the talented Morgan McCormack in 501 which did allow us to get a early start to the beach. Sandy is so lucky to have the support of great sponsors like L-Style, Monster Barrels, Flying Bull dart shirts and Kryptonite Darts.
