Sandy was playing in her next to last tournament on her fall tour at the Choo Choo Classic. This funky little riverboat tournament has become a regular stop for Sandy and this year she was also testing her new prototype darts for the first time.
She started Friday off with Monster/L-Style teammate Gordon Dixon and they made a nice run to the semi-finals. On Saturday another Monster/L-style teammate D.J. Sayre joined them for Triples and again finished Top 4.
Her ladies partner was Monster/Kryptonite Girls teammate Sandy Haas and they too earned a Top 4 finish in 501 and finished as runner-up in Cricket. Sandy struggled through hip complications for much of the weekend but managed to save her best darts for singles. She won both of the best of 5 events without dropping a leg.
She also got to play in an impromptu adult/youth tournament that was arranged by some of the players at the last minute. She played with her regular youth partner Gage Alvarado and she is always happy to support youth darts. Also much thanks to the sponsors not previously mentioned, Flying Bull Darts and Kryptonite Darts.
