Sandy played well throughout the weekend and reached the Finals in every event she played, winning 5 titles along the way. She teamed with fellow Kryptonite Girl Sandy Haas for the weekend, they lost to Erin Jennings and K-Girl Paula Murphy 2-1 in 501 Ladies Doubles with Sandy clicking the wrong side of several wires. They rebounded to earn the Ladies Doubles Cricket title on Sunday.
Pat Hewitt is a regular partner for Sandy and they teamed up again to win Cricket Mixed Doubles in the first event of the weekend. They ended up 2nd in 501 Mixed Doubles but teamed with Thomas Baugh in Mixed Triples to win a hard fought 2-1 match over Larry Butler, Timmy Nichols and K-Girl Kay Hoover.
Sandy played a tough field of talented ladies throughout both Singles events to reach the Finals each time against Paula. They played some great matches with Sandy winning in 501 3-1 and in Cricket 2-1. The two titles cap a great season that saw her win a career high 19 Singles crowns bringing her career total to 96.
Sandy would like to thank the tournament and venue staff at the Choo Choo, they always do a great job and make her feel at home. She also wants to thank her incredible sponsors Winmau, L-style Global, Flying Bull Darts, Spider Tech and Dutchman Darts for their great products and their constant support in chasing her dart dreams.
