She rebounded and teamed with fellow K-Girl Sandy Haas to win Ladies 501 Doubles over Paula Murphy and Christy Davis. It would prove to be a theme for the weekend with Paula and Christy winning the Cricket Doubles over the Sandy and Sandy on Sunday.
Sandy won the weekend's top event, the BDO/WDF ranked Ladies 501 Singles Title, which comes with an invitation to the Winmau World Masters in England later this year. She and Paula met in two all K-Girls Finals with Sandy winning 501 and Paula winning Cricket over Sandy.
She also played with Robbie Phillips in Mixed Doubles and lost to fellow L-Style teammates Leonard Gates and Christy Davis. Sandy also teamed with her regular Youth partner Gage Alvarado to earn a Top 4 finish to Adult/Youth 501. We had to make a quick getaway on Sunday night to stay ahead on the oncoming ice storm bearing down on us, we got home safely about 2:30 AM. Thus is the life of a traveling dart player.
Sandy's amazing sponsors help support this adventure and special thanks as always go out to Winmau, L-Style Global, Spider Tech, Flying Bull, Dutchman Darts and Kryptonite Darts.
