Fortunately, playing in a Summer Mixed Doubles league back home has kept her game sharp during the break and she had a very nice weekend indeed. Sandy teamed with her league teammate John Liggett to win Mixed Doubles Cricket, topping her ladies partner for the weekend Julie Renea and fellow Flying Bull sponsored player Robbie Phillips in the Finals.
They bowed out in the first round of 501 Doubles and lost in the 2nd round of Cricket Mixed Triples with George Alvarado, which would prove to be her only losses for the tournament.
She and Julie swept both Ladies Doubles events and Sandy would also win both the Ladies Singles titles besting Julie in the Cricket Finals and Julie Hamlin in the 501 Finals. These wins give her 12 on the season and 91 singles titles in her career.
Sandy loves her sponsors and endorses their products whole heartedly. She uses her signature prototype model made by Winmau which is coming to a dart shop near you soon. L-Style Global makes her amazing "Storm" flights and carbon shaft systems and Flying Bull makes the best sublimation darts shirts in the business. Spider Tech's revolutionary kinesiology tape is always a part of Sandy's weekend events providing world class pain relief and flexibility which helps her every step of the way. Special thanks also go out to Dutchman Darts and Kryptonite Darts for their constant support. She feels so proud to have such wonderful people in her corner.
