Sandy was a bit rusty after a long break through the holidays but still played well in stretches and ended up having a very nice weekend winning 5 of 6 events she entered. She teamed with Pat Hewitt as she did in her last tournament of 2015 and they posted the same results. She and Pat won Mixed Cricket Doubles and lost in the Finals of 501 Mixed Doubles to Dan Naylor and Julie Renea where she and Pat struggled with their doubles.
Sandy paired up with her GGDG teammate Tia Rogers for the first time in tournament competition and they were able to claim both Ladies 501 and Cricket Doubles titles. Sandy also continued her streak at this tournament by winning both Singles Titles. Her first 2 Singles Titles of the year came over Myrtle Beach girls Julie Hamlin in Cricket and Cathe Singleton in 501. She has now won 8 consecutive Singles crowns at this event and 9 overall. They also bring Sandy up to an impressive 98 career titles.
Sandy was happy to be playing again as she tries to get back in tournament shape before the ADO Cricket National Championship and Las Vegas Open later this month. Sandy started the 2016 season with her great sponsors supporting her and she chases her dart dreams. Winmau makes her "Storm" darts, now on sale in America. L-Style Global makes her "Storm" flights and has been in her corner for years. Ask your dart supplier for Sandy's signature darts and flights. Spider Tech makes the highest quality kinesiology tape in the world and is always a part of Sandy's performances. Much loves also goes out to Flying Bull Darts for her sublimation "Storm" shirts and to Dutchman Darts, the US Distributor for Winmau products.
