Sandy had only been back in the country a couple a days but was off again to compete in the QCDA Summer Shootout in Pineville, NC. Even though the last 10 days came with plenty of taxing travel she was happy to return to this event after missing the last 2 years, due to PDC and WDF America's Cup conflicts.
While she was quite tired through the weekend, she did have some success and was able to play with some great partners and great friends. Sandy started Saturday off by winning Cricket Mixed Doubles with Pat Hewitt, unfortunately they exited in the 2nd round of the 501 event. Julie Phillips and Sandy just spent the last week in Trinidad together and were very relaxed and comfortable winning both 501 and Cricket Ladies Doubles Titles.
She was able to win the Ladies Cricket Singles and finished Top 4 in 501 Singles. No rest for the weary as they say, Sandy has a NC/SC Ladies Cup match and a day day league tournament to complete her busy July.
