The next day the same teams met in a Top 8 battle, this time Lisa and Shelly prevailed. She was also able to play with local league teammate John Liggett and they captured the Cricket Mixed Doubles title. John wasn't able to play on Sunday so Sandy picked up Hunter Thornton, a local league player playing in his first tournament ever. They finished Top 8 in 501 Mixed Doubles. She teamed with Amy and her husband Chuck and competed in Mixed Triples, bowing out in the Top 16.
Sandy was on fire on the Mountain in the Singles events, winning 501 over Lisa Ayers, never dropping a leg in her run to the crown. She defeated Amy to win the Cricket event and gives Sandy 7 Singles Titles this season.
She also finalized the graphics for her new Winmau darts, coming soon to dart retailer near you. Winamu is one of many great sponsor's who support Sandy as she promotes darts. Special thanks got out to L-Style Global, Flying Bull Darts, Spider Tech, Dutchman Darts and Kryptonite Darts.
She returns to action next weekend competing in her 28th ADO National Playoff in Cleveland, OH. The Cleveland Extravaganza is hosting the ADO's Winmau Masters playoffs and Sandy looks forward to her first visit at the tournament.
