The new tournament had an outside the box approach with very high Singles payouts and a weekend full of 90% payback events. Sandy started the weekend losing in the Finals to fellow Kryptonite Girl Paula Murphy who was her weekend partner and they would go on to sweep both Ladies Doubles events. Sandy also made a run to the Finals in the Blind Draw with local player Ted Hoffman who was even throwing Sandy's signature dart. They ended up just short, finishing second to local Kay Howard and Joe Chaney, who is her teammate on the America's Cup team this summer in Barbados.
The first event on Saturday was 501 Singles where she topped Julie Renea in the Finals to reach the century mark, she would meet Paula in another all K-Girl Cricket Singles Finals where Sandy won a very tough match. She played with her youth partner Gage Alvarado at this event and her friend John Liggett in Mixed Doubles, she and John won both events and teamed with another close friend Jeff Turner to finish Top 4 in Mixed Triples. On the weekend she won 6 of the 10 events she entered, with a pair of 2nd Place finishes and a Top 4.
