Sandy played with Adult/Youth partner with Gage Alvarado but they had early exits in both events. She teamed with Robbie Phillips and Dan Naylor for a Top 8 finish in Mixed Triples. She and Flying Bull Darts teammate Robbie Phillips also played Mixed Doubles, winning 501 and pushing their streak to 5 straight titles together, before finishing Top 4 in Cricket to Joe Chaney and fellow Kryptonite Girl Sandy Haas who were the last team to beat them.
Sandy teamed with GPDA Ladies teammate Amy Tucker to sweep both Ladies Doubles titles and have now won 10 of the last 12 at this tournament. She finished Top 8 in Singles 501 and won her third title of the young season in Cricket Singles besting Sandy Haas in an all Kryptonite Girls Final. For Sandy it is her 7th straight Cricket title here and the milestone 70th singles title of her career.
This was the first tournament with her new sponsor Spider Tech and their pain relieving kinesiology tape was used heavily over the weekend, it seemed everyone had questions about the product. Thanks also go out to L-style and Monster for their continued support of Sandy's darts. She recently started hip therapy and hopes that it will help and last week she was filmed and interviewed for an upcoming article in the local newspaper, The Greenville News. After a short week it's off to Vegas for the ADO's Cricket Nationals and Las Vegas Open.
