Sandy was coming off a long break and the weekend got off to a slow start when traffic issues caused her to miss Mixed Doubles Cricket on Friday. Her L-Style teammate Gordon Dixon was very understanding and they started Saturday off with a Top 4 finish in Mixed Doubles 501, bowing out to L-Style teammates Soldier Gates and Kay Hoover. They also teamed with L-Style teammate D.J. Sayre to earn Top 8 in Mixed Triples. Sandy met Kay in both singles events, losing 501 and finishing Top 8 and then winning the Cricket title over Kay in the Finals.
Her Kryptonite Girls teammate Sandy Haas teamed up with her as they swept both Ladies Doubles events. Sandy was a bit rusty to start the weekend but got it going pretty good on Sunday and was relatively pain free throughout the weekend. Her therapy has been coming along pretty well and armed with her Spider Tech tape she is getting closer to her old form.
Spider Tech is only one of the amazing sponsor's who support Sandy. She is so grateful to have L-Style Global, Flying Bull Darts and Kryptonite Darts in her corner. Sandy will represent America for the 4th time in international competition at the America's Cup and the first time on home turf in Tampa, FL.
