Sandy was on hand for the second installment of the Action Classic at Action Billiards in Inman, SC. This is played in one of our local league bars and it's always nice to play an event so close.
She again teamed with youth player Ryan Avelino and again they found success winning the 501 Mixed Doubles Title and finishing 2nd in the Mixed Cricket Finals. she teamed with her GGDG teammate Haley Rogers for the first time, Haley is coming back from a broken foot and played in a foot brace for this tournament, seems to be a trend this year in the world of darts. They earned a 2nd Place finish in Ladies Doubles Cricket and a Top 4 in 501 Doubles, each time losing to the eventual winners.
Sandy played well at times this weekend but wasn't happy about her performance overall. She was at her best in Singles where she swept to the 501 and Cricket Titles. She will return next month for the USSDA 501 National Championship where she looks to defend her title. The event will be held in Myrtle Beach and hosted by the Saltwater Classic.
