Sandy went to the great state of New Hampshire for the first time to compete for a spot on the 2014 America's Cup team. The event was hosted by the Minute Man Dart League and the Witch City Open. The turnout was smaller than expected but the ladies playing presented very tough competition. She fought through nagging hip issues all day but stayed mentally tough, dropping only one match and 4 legs overall.
Sandy won the event and finally qualified for the World Darts Federation's 2014 America Cup , a honor which has eluded her three times previously. It will be the fourth time in her career she will represent her country in an international event and she looks forward to playing with her teammates Brenda Rousch, Tom Sawyer and Jim Widmayer in Florida next summer.
