Sandy won her bracket winning 12 of 15 legs but dropping all three legs to fellow K-Girl and local player Marlise Kiel. Both girls advanced to the Final bracket where Sandy started off beating Lisa Ayers 2-1. Lisa had won the other bracket to reach the Finals. The leg she dropped to Lisa would prove to be the only leg she would lose in the Finals.
She beat Gwen Smith and Marlise 3-0 to win the National Playoff and stamp her ticket to England where she and Marlise will represent America once again. It will be the 5th time Sandy has made the trip over to this prestigious event now in it's 42nd year and the 6th time she has represented America in international play.
The thrill of representing your country never gets old and the Winmau World Masters is circled on Sandy's calendar every year, it is the toughest event in Ladies darts year after year. The event is even more meaningful now that she is sponsored by the great people at Winmau who are one of the many fantastic sponsors Sandy is blessed to have in her corner. L-Style Global, Flying Bull Darts, Spider Tech, Dutchman Darts and Kryptonite Darts also strongly support Sandy and her quest to reach the pinnacle of Ladies Darts.
