
The ADO had returned to Charlotte to host their National Playoffs and Sandy played well throughout the day to win the event and qualify for the most prestigious event in women's darts.
Since her first trip over in 2008, she has always looked forward to this event and will be making her fourth appearance later this year.
Sandy came out of her bracket winning 16 of 18 legs to advance to the final bracket along with Carole Herriott. Two of her Kryptonite Girls teammates were also in the finals as Candra Archbold won her bracket and Paula Murphy won a playoff to break a tie and advance.
Sandy's first match was against Paula were she won 2-1. Her next match against her GGDG teammate Candra Archbold also went her way 2-1, but only after a few breaks. She finished off the bracket beating Carole 3-0 and ending up 7-2 in the bracket and 23-4 on the day. Paula finished 2nd will also be making the trip over to England.
