The Fire on the Mountain tournament has been a regular stop on Sandy's schedule for many years and a place she has found a lot of success through the years. She was able to again find great success there winning 5 of 6 events.
This year the Western Carolina Dart Association moved into a spacious new venue and hosted the first ever USSDA Challenger Series event. While the event was successful, Sandy was unable to attend on Friday. Her first event on Saturday she teamed with local player Sean 'Cowboy" Force for the first time. They played strong and reached the Finals before bowing out in a close match in Mixed doubles Cricket. That would be the last event Sandy would lose. She and Sean returned on Sunday to claim the 501 Mixed Doubles Title.
Sandy played with her local Greater Greenville Dart Girls teammate Tia Rogers and the girls swept both Doubles events. Sandy also won 501 and Cricket Singles crowns for her 7th Singles Title on the new season.
Sandy is blessed to have such strong support from friends and her sponsors, Winmau, L-Style Global, Flying Bull Darts and Dutchman Darts.
