She always tries to support the QCDA in their events as well as Blue Rocks which holds a special place in her heart. Restricted by family plans she drove up on Saturday morning and played in three events before heading home. She managed to win all 3 events but wasn't playing at her usual skill level, she was rusty and certainly not in tournament shape as she calls it. Still she endured and had a great time in the process.
She played Mixed Doubles Cricket with her dear friend Chris Chism. They have played a few times before but never managed to win so this was special for both of them. They both finished as Target-USSDA 501 National runner-ups earlier this year in Asheville, NC.
It was also the first time she won with Haley Scott who plays with her on the Greenville Ladies Travel Team. They had to endure some tough matches along the way and Sandy says they should have lost in the Semi-Finals but found a way to get it done and win Ladies Cricket Doubles.
The day finished with her winning Singles Cricket for only her 2nd Title of the season and her 171st of her career.
Sandy is so blessed to have amazing sponsors in her corner. A heartfelt "Thank you" goes out to Winmau, L-Style Global, Magic Wear and Plague Darts for all their support. She stays busy with her next Ladies Cup match next weekend.
