
After the drive down on Saturday morning she literally got out of the car and walked into the tournament to begin playing her first event with Joe Efter in Mixed Doubles Cricket. Joe was kind enough to fill in on short notice after her scheduled partner had to cancel. They lost in the Semi-Finals but rebounded nicely on Sunday to win the 501 Mixed Doubles event.
Sandy teamed up with Julie Renea as they always do at this event where they have had a lot of success through the years. The girls swept both Ladies Doubles events adding to their impressive record here. She and Heidi Channel would meet in Saturday Cricket Singles Finals with Sandy coming out on top in a high scoring affair. Sandy survived a scare in the 501 Singles Finals on Sunday against the always tough Lori Fowler earn that title as well.
Aside from the scenic area and good competition Sandy always looks forward to seeing the staff that runs the event and some of her friends in the area. Sandy enjoys such incredible support from her friends and her sponsors. Winamu makes her signature darts and she was happy to see the tournament filled with the new Blade 5 boards.
