Sandy was also a late replacement for the team. When she was first asked, she turned it down because the match would fall during her vacation. Oh well, these things happen when you start scheduling dart events. The team was built but they had to change the date of the match and then had a player unable to attend and they reached out to Sandy. On short notice she was added to the group and traveled to the Upper Deck in Cary, an outstanding dart facility where she has competed at in the past, a lot of good memories at that place.
Sandy was joined by Heidi Channel, Julie Hamlin, Cathe Singleton, Camilla Bunnell, Lori Fowler, Megan Hoover, Glenda Alvarado and fellow Kryptonite Girls Candra Archbold and Team Captain Candi Ellis. North Carolina was captained by Julie Renea and included Tisha Taylor, Stephanie Lynn, Ellen Lee, Lauren Pizza, Deb Blackwelder, Donna Ferber, Kris Kilsdonk, Jen Bowser and Dawn Hamilton.
The match was held the day after Sandy met a reporter for an interview with the magazine "South Carolina Living", who is doing an article on her for an upcoming edition. Sandy is blessed to have a lot of friends and supporters in the world of darts not to mention the best sponsors in the business in her corner. Thanks for all your support Winmau, L-Style Global, Spider Tech, Flying Bull Darts and Dutchman Darts.
