![]() Sandy was in Greenville with her GPDA teammates on Saturday as they attempted to defend their North Carolina/South Carolina Ladies Challenge Cup. This is the 32nd year of what is believed to be the oldest multi state challenge event of it's kind in America. The girls played well Saturday and prevailed 18-6 over the Piedmont team in a match that was closer than the score indicates. Sandy was undefeated on the day and along with Tia Rogers. Karen Carnes, Mona Brunnia, Candra Archbold, Laurie Beach and April Collins, Greenville earn it's fourth straight win in this series. The match was hosted by the VFW Post 10330 and the girls brought food for everyone. The ladies from Piedmont were tough competitors and great sports. Everyone seemed to have a great time.
