The event was played at the VFW Post 10330 in Greenville, SC and the GGDG successfully defended the Cup, winning 20-4.
After winning the cup last year the girls were making their 7th title defense and the match was much closer than the score may indicate. It was tied 3-3 after 501 Singles and several matches went all three legs and could have gone either way, the Greenville ladies were fortunate to have won most of those close matches.
As always the local girls brought food for everyone and both teams had a blast playing for the oldest Ladies Cup in America. Sandy went undefeated on the day as did her fellow Kryptonite Girls teammate Candra Archbold. They are happy to be part of this great team which includes Laurie Beach, Karen Carnes, Tia Rogers, April Collins and Amy Tucker. One player, Kelly Turner wasn't able to attend this match.
Sandy sponsors are always a big part of what she does and much love goes out to L-Style Global, Flying Bull Darts and Kryptonite Darts. Spider Tech and their amazing tape once again came in handy for not only Sandy, but for one of her teammates who had injured her back.
