Spartanburg was playing in their third match ever in America's longest running Challenge Cup series, now in it's 40th year. Greenville fielded a smaller team than normal with Sandy being joined by Candra Archbold, Teresa Cepek, Gin Carlton, Tia and Haley Rogers.
There were some close matches throughout the day but the local girls were able to gain the edge in 501 Singles and build on the lead resulting in a 19-5 victory which was closer than the score may indicate. Thus the GGDG retain the title in the series which has been greatly effected by the pandemic and continues to be impacted, still the Cup series continues on,
Sandy is lucky to have such great sponsors who have continued lending their strong support in these tough times. Thank you Winmau, L-Style Global, Magic Wear and Dutchman Darts. Special thanks go out to all that follow Sandy's dart adventures through her website and social media. She will return next month at the Winmau 501 National Championship and the Saltwater Classic in Myrtle Beach, SC.
