After resting up Friday night she teamed with fellow L-Style teammate Robbie Phillips and they played well before bowing out in the Top 8 in 501. On Sunday Sandy played her worst match of the weekend and she and Robbie were knocked out early. She was also able to play Adult/Youth with Junior on Sunday finished as Runner-Up.
The highlight of the weekend was being able to team up with Youth phenom Aaja Jalbert playing in her last tournament as a Youth player. Aaja capped off her stellar career winning her record 7th National Championship.
Their chemistry together was undeniable as they swept to both Ladies Doubles titles in a talented room of players. Sandy finished Top 8 in both Ladies Singles losing the Amber Wyatt in 501 and Paula Murphy in a long, tough 3 leg Cricket match that took an hour to play.
Sandy was happy about the way she played through most of the weekend. As always she wishes to thank her incredible sponsors, L-Style Global, Magic Wear and Winmau.
