After years away from professional circuit, she came back to the sport in 2007 and has competed at the highest levels of women's darts in America and England ever since.
Sandy had a great 2022 season, claiming the Target 501 National Championship which was the 8th National Championship. She won 13 Singles Titles raising her career total to 169 as she returns to form after 2 knee replacement surgeries. The 2023 season kicked off in Pineville, NC and she won 3 events including her first Singles title of the year. She was in Wellford, SC the next week helping her GGDG teammates defend the NC/SC Challenge Cup vs Apex. Her busy January continued with the ADO Cricket National Championship in Las Vegas, NV where she finished as Top 4. She claimed one title at the Las Vegas Open as well. She finished the month earning 2nd in the USSDA 501 Nationals in Asheville. In March she help the GGDG defend the NC/SC Ladies Challenge Cup against Myrtle Beach and in May she won 3 titles at the Cinco de Mayo tournament in Pineville, NC, one of which was Cricket Singles. The next week she helped her GGDG teammates defend the Cup vs the Charleston ladies team. In June she traveled to Boca Raton, FL for the Cherry Bomb International and Target/USSDA Cricket National Championship which she won bringing her up to 9 National titles in her career. July found her at the Charlotte Open in Charlotte, NC where she finished in the money in 3 events. In August she helped her GGDG teammates defend the NC/SC Ladies Challenge Cup vs Spartanburg and in October she won 2 events at the Rally at the Rock tournament in Inman, SC.
